Cleveland Cavaliers center LeBron James is expected to sign a 10 year, $100 million contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to a league source.
James’ contract includes $100,000 in guaranteed money.
The Cavs have the right to match any offer for the All-Star center, league sources told ESPN.
James, the 2016-17 MVP, was expected to be a free agent after the season.
But a source told ESPN’s Darren Rovell that Cleveland is “very close” to signing him, but a number of teams have expressed interest.
James was scheduled to report to the Cavs’ training camp in Arizona on Tuesday.
His camp was scheduled for Friday.
The NBA is expected not to reveal the terms of James’ contract until Wednesday.
