Hoosiers are looking forward to their New Year with excitement.
They are anticipating big numbers for the lottery, with the state’s second-highest number of tickets sold and its highest numbers for cash prizes.
New York City, with its $1.6 trillion lottery, is expected to have the most tickets sold.
More than 4.2 million tickets were sold in New York on Saturday, up by almost 400,000 from last year, according to data compiled by the lottery.
The average price of a ticket in New Jersey was $10.19, down from $12.29 last year.
In Indiana, the average ticket sold was $4.99, down by more than 80,000.
The state of Indiana, home to Indiana’s largest city, Indianapolis, saw its largest number of ticket sales of any state.
Indiana saw an increase of nearly 100,000 tickets to $1,079 million.
In Florida, tickets sold increased by almost 75,000 to $3,931 million.
The state’s biggest seller was Los Angeles, with tickets sold up 1,700,000, a 13.2% increase from last years average.
Tickets sold in Tennessee and Louisiana were down last year and the ticket sales in those states are expected to be lower this year.
Tennessee’s lottery, which is open to everyone over the age of 21, is still seeing some bumps in ticket sales, though.
Last year, Tennessee had more than $1 billion in ticket revenue.
The lottery has also been downgraded from a “major” to a “minor” in Louisiana.
In Iowa, where tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, tickets sales were down by nearly 1 million, according a lottery official.
The ticket sales were also down in Michigan, where sales were up by nearly 9 million.
Tickets for the Iowa lottery, the state lottery, were up 4.6% from lastyear’s average and up more than 25% from the number of winners in a year ago, according the lottery’s director of operations.
The tickets sold for this year’s lottery were up 8.6%.
Tickets sold were up 10.4% in the Southwestern United States and by 2.3% in Montana.
Tickets sold were down 4.1% in Wyoming, by 1.4%.
The biggest loser was Florida, which saw its ticket sales decline by 3.7%.
The state had about $1 million in revenue for the year.
Tickets for the Florida lottery are up 5.5%.
In New York, the biggest winners of the lottery were New York City with tickets selling up 9.9% to $2.3 billion, followed by New Jersey with tickets sales up 7.3%.
Tickets sold in the Bronx and Staten Island were down 5.6%, the lottery said.
The New York lottery had its highest-selling day since January 8, 2016, when tickets were up 9% to more than 1.2 billion.
Tickets were also up 8% to an average price, up from $2,097.60.
New York is home to the largest concentration of millionaires in the country, with about 4.8 million millionaires.
The numbers are up for Nevada, which had its largest sales since January 1, 2018, when sales were at $1 per ticket.
Tickets are up 1.6 percentage points to $9.6 billion.
The number of lottery winners has been on the rise for the last two years, with more than 6,300 winners since the beginning of the year, with 1,639 winners in the first two weeks of January, according data compiled in 2016 by the Associated Press.
The biggest losers from the lottery are New York and New Jersey, both of which saw ticket sales fall by more then 1% to about $8.5 billion.
New Jersey saw the biggest decrease in sales, down 8.3%, while New York saw ticket drops of 5.8%.
The New York numbers are also down 5% from a year earlier.
