On Wednesday, Indiana Governor Mike Pence was the keynote speaker at the annual National Rifle Association convention.
In his keynote speech, Pence spoke about his experience with the lottery and the lottery’s impact on the state.
Pence, a Republican, was a regular attendee at the convention and is widely considered the best Republican candidate for the White House in 2020.
When he spoke about the lottery, Pence was critical of the state’s lottery system and said it was a “distraction from our real challenges.”
Pipeline to lottery is a distraction from our REAL challenges.

A federal lawsuit was filed against Puerto Rico, alleging that the lottery system was not sufficiently secure, and that the money was being used for private purposes.
The lottery system has since been shut down and has reopened, but its website says it will be open again in September.
