Winners of the April 25th Ohio lottery posted an emotional video to social media after winning their share of $2.5 million.
The winning numbers were: 7, 8, 11, 14, 19, 20, 25, 29, 40 and 41.
The lottery post was written by Kristy Boggs, who wrote the post as she prepared for the next step in her life.
Boggs is a mother of two and is a teacher at St. Elizabeths School in Canton.
The video was filmed by her daughter, Aimee, and shared on Instagram.
Brawls family, along with their son, Matt, are thrilled with the news that she has won.
“We are so excited that we have been able to share this story and hope that others will find it too,” she said in a statement.
“I have the utmost confidence in our team, our kids, and our team of teachers and volunteers.
We are just happy to have found this great opportunity.”
Brawlers family also thanked the people of the state for their support and offered prayers for the winner.
The post also showed Bogg on a stage with her family, and her husband, a police officer in the United States Army, giving a speech about how hard it is to get a job after college.
“I know that when I go to work and I put in the time and I do the work, that I am helping people,” she added.
“And I will say it again, I have done everything I could possibly do to help my family.
And this was my way of doing that.”
The lottery winner is the second Ohioan to win the lottery since the state’s last lottery was held in 2020.
In 2017, Amanda Wojcicki was named the first woman to win a lottery jackpot of $1.5 billion.
